Here are a collection of photos recapping the SLICK Contemporary Art Fair in Paris, France. For the second consecutive year, the event was held underneath a massive marquis tent located on the esplanade between the Palais de Tokyo and Paris’ Museum of Modern Art. Since 2006, the large exhibition has been known for introducing emerging artistic talent to not only the French public, but an international audience. Through solo shows and collective exhibitions alike, there were more than forty international galleries including thousands of art work pieces unveiled during this year. As seen in the photos, there was everything from skateboard decks, to pop culture references, to large sculpture installations. New to this year’s SLICK, were private-sector collections that made up an exhibition of approximately thirty works. Until next year’s SLICK Contemporary Art Fair, enjoy this recap.
